Women’s music is an essential part of world heritage.
Empowering women composers recognizes their ability and potential to create new works involving the world, different cultures and musical fields. Music knows no boundaries.The fundamental role of women in the creation and transmission of tangible and intangible cultural heritage and the creation and practice of music belongs not only to a people or a culture, but to all of humanity.

Le concours international de composition “Carlo Sanvitale” organisé par “Amici della Musica - Guido Albanese” a pour vocation de donner l’occasion aux compositeurs contemporains de présenter leurs oeuvres au public et d’acquérir de l’expérience en travaillant aux côtés d’un ensemble de chambre (Complesso da Camera “Carlo Sanvitale”).

Objectives of the Competition: Creating a forum for and drawing attention to new “popular operas” conceived in the spirit of the Artistic Manifesto of Bartók Plus Opera Festival, that are capable of luring back large audiences to the opera house.
