Concours International de Composition ARTISTES EN HERBE 2020 Luxembourg - INFOS & LAUREATS (FR/EN)
Le Concours International de Composition “Artistes en Herbe” Luxembourg a été fondé en 2009 sous le Patronage du Ministère de la Culture Luxembourg et, dès son lancement, a connu un succès inespéré. Ce concours est unique en son genre en Europe occidentale avec le règlement où les enfants à partir du plus jeune âge sont admis dans la catégorie JUNIOR classée en 3 groupes d’âge. Le but pédagogique est renforcé par le règlement où les compositeurs adultes sont invités à écrire pour les enfants et ceci dans la catégorie SENIOR.
Le Concours en 2020 est avec le support du Ministère de la Culture, SACEM Luxembourg, Oeuvre Grande Duchesse Charlotte, FLAC, Les Concerts du Foyer Européen et Cercle Cité de la Ville du Luxembourg.
En 2020, la 5ème édition du Concours a été réalisée avec un grand succès international, surtout au niveau de la qualité des oeuvres qui ont été envoyées.
Dans les deux catégories, 223 œuvres musicales sont arrivées de 34 pays, dont le Luxembourg, France, Allemagne, Autriche, Angleterre, Australie, Argentine, Belgique, Belorussia, Brésil, Bulgarie, Italie, Israel, Espagne, Suisse, Pays-Bas, Grèce, Rodos, Serbie, Canada, USA, Turquie, Iran, Pologne, Arménie, République Tchèque, Slovaquie, Slovénie, Lettonie, Lituanie, Chine, Corée du Sud, Singapore et le Mexique.
Le Jury International a siégé entre le 11 et 15 mars partiellement au Luxembourg et par internet selon des restrictions de déplacement dues au Corona Virus.

Albena Petrovic est la présidente - fondateur du Concours International de Composition “Artistes en Herbe” Luxembourg qui a eu, avec grand succès, ses éditions en 2010, 2013, 2015 et 2017 sous le patronage du Ministère de la Culture Luxembourg et avec le soutien du “Fonds Culturel National”, de la SACEM Luxembourg, le Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg, BGL-BNP Paribas, Music Enterprise, Pianos Kleber et les Oeuvres Grand-Duchesse Charlotte.
Un suivi de ce Concours est le Forum International de Composition 2021 qui va organiser des concerts et la promotion des lauréats comme en 2012, 2014, 2016 et 2018. Avec le soutien du Ministère de la Culture et du “Fonds Culturel National” sont organisés de nombreux concerts, masterclasses et workshops, créant ainsi une plateforme d’échange musical international.
La Cérémonie de REMISE de PRIX (Cercle Cité 18 Avril 2020) a été annulée pour raison du Corona virus, et sera déplacée à une date ultérieure.

The International Composition Competition “Artistes en Herbe” Luxembourg was founded in 2009 under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture Luxembourg and since its launch had an unexpected success. This competition is unique in its kind in Western Europe with the regulations where children from the youngest age are admitted in the JUNIOR category classified into 3 age groups. The educational purpose is reinforced by the regulations where adult composers are invited to write for children and this in the SENIOR category.
The 2020 competition is organized with the support of: Ministry of Culture, SACEM Luxembourg, Oeuvre Grande Duchesse Charlotte, FLAC, Les Concerts du Foyer Européen and Cercle Cité de la Ville de Luxembourg.
In 2020 the 5th Edition of the Competition was carried out with great international success, especially in terms of the quality of the works that were sent.
In both categories 223 musical works have arrived from 34 countries, including Luxembourg, France, Germany, Austria, England, Australia, Argentina, Belgium, Belarus, Brazil, Bulgaria, Italy, Israel, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Greece, Rhodes, Serbia, Canada, USA, Turkey, Iran, Poland, Armenia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Latvia, Lithuania, China, South Korea, Singapore, and Mexico.
The International Jury sat between 11 and 15 March partially in Luxembourg and online because of the travel restrictions due to the Corona Virus.

Albena Petrovic is the president - founder of the International Composition Competition “Artistes en Herbe” Luxembourg which had, with great success, its editions in 2010, 2013, 2015, 2017 under the patronage of the Luxembourg Ministry of Culture and with the support of “National Cultural Fund”, from SACEM Luxembourg, the Conservatory of the City of Luxembourg, BGL-BNP Paribas, Music Enterprise, Pianos Kleber and the Oeuvres Grande Duchesse Charlotte.
A continuation of this Competition is the International Composition Forum 2021 which will organize concerts and promotion of the winners as in 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018. With the support of the Ministry of Culture and the “National Cultural Fund” are organized many concerts, masterclasses and workshops, which creates a platform for international musical exchange. The PRIZE-GIVING Ceremony (Cercle Cité April 18, 2020) has been canceled due to the Corona Virus and will take place on a later date.
