This 7th competition is opened to composers of any nationality who will be under 33 years old on January 1st 2019, and are enrolled or have been enrolled in composition and/or orchestration courses between 2013 and 2019 at an institution in the European Union.

Applicants shall compose two movements on the theme “The Armed Man”. This work will be composed specifically for this competition, it will be original and not have been performed previously in full or in part.

This work must have five movements, each two minutes long, for a total of ten minutes.

Entrants must submit their completed application on the Ulysses platform: http://ulysses-network.eu before Monday 10th September 2018.

The public finale round will take place on February 21st 2019 at Centre des bords de Marne - Le Perreux-sur-Marne (94).
